Hi, Raisa! More is coming, but it might be a bit before we tackle this unit. Our original thought was to have this available as a SPRING unit to teach about the upcoming summer plans. I will definitely be watching for resources and will add them as I find them.

Hello all! We’re doing a “round 1” on this unit this month. You’ll see a few lessons and resources starting to pop up. We’d love to have any suggestions as we build it.
We are really excited about this one because it’s going to have a collaboration with a great organization… Language & Friendship! They offer summer camps and home stays that have a language/abroad experience for multiple states. I’ve hosted twice for them, and I just can’t say enough nice things about them. So excited!
using who do you go with on vacation? how do you go? (type of transportation), which places to visit (playa, balneario, campamento, montañas, etc), which clothing do you use when going on summer vac? activities (nadar, practicar deportes, montar en bici, surfear, tomar fotos, etc)

Glad to hear it’s wanted! This is my focus unit unit until it is finished. We have some pretty unique authentic resources coming soon from a partner in Spain. I can’t wait to get that all in the lessons! I’m hoping to have it finished by the end of May (next month). Fingers crossed!

Hey Kathya! I just got a round of edits back yesterday, so tomorrow/this weekend I’ll be adding to the first row of lessons. As I mentioned in the previous comment, I’m waiting for some very special videos to do the last row of lessons, but I don’t know exactly when they are coming in.

Welcome! I got three completely done now. I just need videos to wrap up the “recreativas” lesson. It’s going to continue to be my focus, just know I haven’t had my native speaker look at everything I’ve put up yet.

Thank ya! We talked about adding that, but decided it should be a separate unit since this one already has several tenses, lots of new vocabulary and is geared toward Intermediate Low/Mid.
As a quick fix, you can use an online PDF editor to edit the verb forms on the handouts. I’ll note your request for future unit ideas!
Have you seen the new “Eventos deportivos” unit? There are lessons talking about past trips there. Since the Olympics just happened and Paraolympics are going on, this could be a way to give the input, and then they can talk about ANY vacation they took (it doesn’t have to be a sporting one). There’s also a past experiences lesson in the “Parques” unit.
This was such a fun unit for my level 3’s to end the school year with, and the conversation prompts went great with introducing them to future tense! Muchas gracias!
