Putting it to Practice
In the next few weeks, do an interpersonal speaking activity/task with a class.
What is the activity/task?
What is the daily communicative objective?
After the task, ask your students for a quick reflection and feedback:
What proficiency level could you complete the activity/task?
What helped you to do the activity/task well?
What did not help?
What would help you do better the next time?
Reflect on the following after the lesson and their feedback:
What is something you saw your students do well during the interpersonal activity/task?
What did you do that led them to do that?
What would you change the next time to help improve their proficiency level?
